TOM GILLISPIE is a veteran sportswriter who has covered auto racing, among other sports, for many years, most recently as a contributing sportswriter for the Winston-Salem Journal. He has also written for numerous auto-racing publications such as Auto World Weekly, Stock Car Racing Magazine, and Speedway Illustrated, and he was a contributor to Racing Families: A Tribute to Racing’s Fastest Dynasties. Gillispie lives in Kernersville, North Carolina.
